Dear Sheila,
Last Monday when my Nana passed away, it broke my heart in two. She was my best friend, my world, my everything. We've been so close whilst growing up that I can't believe I will never see her again. I will miss coming to 18 Sunningdale Ave. as it's been my 2nd home for the last 50 years.
Covid19 lockdown was just so cruel & it took away our rights to visit her & these last 10 months have been awful not seeing her.
We are truly thankful to you for your love & care, with Nana & also Grandpa previously. They couldn't have managed without you & for that will be eternally grateful.
Offering to stay overnight with her in the last days of her life meant so much to us, knowing she would be safe 24 hours a day.
I can't thank you enough Sheila, it will always be in my thoughts of the love you gave her.
Take care,
— Donna & family xxxxx
Sheila, my friend,
What can I say, your amazing. I think you must have been sent by someone for me and Juan. He truly took to u. as I did. Your a lovely person and helped us both so much. I'll tell you something, I know your special. Juan never shared his jelly beans with me, although you didn't get any of his sherbets ☺.
Thank you Sheila, for everything for looking after my very special man in the way you did, your professional, caring, compassionate and you were my Rock, keep on doing what your doing because you make a difference at the worst possible times in someone's life, and I know they need it.
Hope you enjoyed your holiday, and thanks for the granddad and lanterning things a lot for me, with our suppers. I will come to see you again, when I get myself together, and for a cuddle of course. Take care my friend

To Sheila,
Mummy, thanks for everything you do for me. Your care has made such a difference, giving me help and support over the months. Nothing is too much trouble, you are a real angel, and a true friend every day. Words can't really convey my thanks, and appreciation for all you do. Thank you so much.
Love from Iris xx
To Sheila and all the Team,
It's hard to put into words just how much it has meant to myself and all the family, Sheila, having your love, care and support throughout mum's illness has been a blessing x.
We were a family in crisis, then you came into our lives, offering the patient, loving care mum needed.
Your support allowed mum to stay in her own home, right to the end, which was all mum ever wanted.
I want to THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. You're one of life's angels. x
All our love, Tricia, Dad, Ed & family xxx
To Sheila,
Thank you doesn't seem to be enough. I'm so grateful you came into our lives, you have made such a MASSIVE difference.
I don't think I could have kept going much longer without a break, and thanks to you that was able to happen.
I cannot put into words what it has meant to me knowing I was leaving mum and Dad in safe hands.
You are such a special, caring person. x
On Sheila's care,
Sheila has been caring for Mum for over 12 months and we are delighted with the care and attention she gives her. She also looks after Mum in other ways by taking her out and seeing to her medical needs and appointments.
Mum thinks of her as a dear friend and she has helped to improve her eating and self confidence.
All the family treat her as a friend in the knowledge that Mum is getting the best possible care.
